Biography
Linda, b. Detroit, MI (1953) earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (1976) and Theodore, b. Sylvania, OH (1986) earned a Bachelor of Arts at Denison University, Granville, OH (2009). Linda and Theodore have traveled and studied on 6 continents. Additional artistic studies by Linda include Sorbonne University of Paris, (1974) Paris, France, National Geographic in Sienna, Italy (2005) and National Geographic with Bob Krist Around the World (2007) and by Theodore FAMU, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic (2008).
Mother/son artists duo creating conceptual award winning Mixed Media at the intersection of art, science & technology. Through a heightened sense of the grandeur of both natural and constructed elements the mother/son duo conveys their vision of the connectivity of worldly and spiritual dimensions. Their inventive art transports viewers well beyond realism transmitting more about reality and perception than the human eye.
Metalagram® is created from a multi-layered artistic process by the duo in their studio originating from their classic expertise, self-teaching and use of the scientific method. In their visionary artwork they synthesize etching, engraving, photography composites and cutting edge technology with novel uses of materials and techniques on 2D metal transforming their creation with 3D appearance.
